FCYFL Concussion Prevention Rule- FCYFL is committed to preventing concussions among football players and has issued a new rule placing limitations on the number of days per week hitting can occur during practice. Read this document for the full text of the FCYFL Bulletin.
FCYFL Physician's Release Form *- If your child has an injury (e.g. broken arm, stitches), but is able and wants to continue to play in regular season football games, the Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL) requires that the parent and child's physician complete and sign this release form.
FCYFL Player Identification Documentation- All HOYF players must have an identification card acceptable to the Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL). Read this document to find out what is acceptable identification and how to obtain an ID card if you do not have one. [v2 Rev July 2009]
FCYFL Team Colors *- HOYF's team color is red. When playing away games with another team whose color is red, HOYF wears black. Use this FCYFL team color chart to identify other FCYFL teams whose color is red.
FCYFL Weight Measurements Table- Players are placed in a division based on their age and weight. Your player's coach will let you know which one of the Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL) official weigh-in sessions your player should attend (there are several beginning in mid-August and ending in early September). HOYF Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and Injury Report- HOYF activates an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) if a HOYF player or volunteer is injured during a practice, game or other HOYF event. As soon as possible, a HOYF Injury Report should be completed by a HOYF Board Member, Coach, Assistant Coach, or Team Manager, and promptly turned in to the HOYF Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner.
