The Optimist Club of Herndon, Virginia is proud to provide an excellent American football experience to kids ages 7-16 in Herndon, VA, and surrounding communities. The Herndon Optimist Youth Football (HOYF) program focuses on teaching not only football skills, but just as importantly, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and safety while having fun!

Summer Camp And Tackle Registration

 

HOYF summer camps and tackle registration are open to boys and girls, ages 5-16. Players must be at least 5 years old as of October 1, 2019. No player may be older than 16 as of October 1, 2019.

Camp Schedule:

Two camp sessions are offered July 15-18 and July 22-25. Camp sessions are held Monday-Thursday nights, 6:30-8pm at the Herndon Middle School sports field.

Registration Fee:

There is no cost to attend the HOYF summer camp, but a parent or guardian must complete a registration for their player and be present to check in the player each day of camp. Players are welcome to attend one or both camps; parents need only register the player once.
